Moving Meditation

Mudra Danjeon Meditation is one type of moving meditation that helps practitioners to stay alert, and avoid drowsiness or falling into a state of a dull or dim spirit. By changing one¡¯s hand postures according to the suggested sequence, one¡¯s bodily energy or chi gathers at the Danjeon, which is the center of our life force, located 2.5 inches below the naval. Through this Danjeon Meditation, not only will one¡¯s chi actively circulate in the body and enhance one¡¯s physical health but will also help maintain one¡¯s spiritual stability. One can practice each posture so long as one¡¯s concentration does not wander.
